Xfce trying to install screenshooter plugin, no exo-1 package found

Hi,
I am running Xfce on CentOS 7 and am trying to install the screenshooter plugin. Unfortunately, there is no pre-compiled package so I download the source. When running configure it halts with:

Code:
checking pkg-config is at least version 0.9.0... yes
checking for exo-1 >= 0.5.0... not found
*** The required package exo-1 was not found on your system.
*** Please install exo-1 (atleast version 0.5.0) or adjust
*** the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if you
*** installed the package in a nonstandard prefix so that
*** pkg-config is able to find it.
Looking at my installation I found exo-0.10.2-8.el7.x86_64 but I suppose it isn't the right exo.

I searched the web for exo-1 but found nothing. Can someone point me to the right library or package where that exo is?

did you solve it meanwhile?

i am not using centos but archlinux, and looking at the dependencies of xfce4-screenshooter, i see this:
Code:
depends=('xfce4-panel' 'libsoup' 'hicolor-icon-theme')
makedepends=('xfce4-dev-tools' 'intltool' 'git')
that's for the git version.
xfce4-panel in turn depends on:
Code:
depends=('exo' 'garcon-devel' 'libxfce4ui' 'libwnck' 'hicolor-icon-theme'
and there's your exo!
mind that the packages will likely have different names on centos, but it should give you a clue.

but maybe it is possible to compile the screenshooter independently from the panel?
you should look at
Code:
./configure --help
for available options.

as per the error

you are missing the development rpm for that
so you did not install all the needed prerequisites to build it

install it
Code:
su -
yum install exo-devel
double check the name with a yum search
" yum search exo "

installing exo-devel solved my problem. I only wish the compile output was more precise. Why did it complain about exo-1 when in fact the package name is just exo. Anyway, thanks for the help.
