Smile unable install centos6 on a virtual machine from a ftp server

Hi, I'm preparing fro my rhce. When I try to install centos6 on a virtual machine from a ftp server. I chose the network install option in the hypervisor. The host systems ip address is 192.168.2.200/24. The installable files are on the ftp server on the host system. The address of installable files is ftp://192.168.2.200/pub/centos6. which i provided to the hypervisor. After inputting all the relevant values and then when i click Begin Installation the anaconda installer gets invoked and i select the language and the keyboard.
Then comes configure tcp/ip.
There i select enable ipv4 and manual configuration.
I provide an ip address of 192.168.2.201/24.
The gateway as 192.168.2.1.
The nameserver as 192.168.2.1.
But when i click ok. it gives the following error.

Unable to retrieve ftp://192.168.2.200/pub/centos6/images/install.img

I tried a lot of work arounds. Nothing is working.
How can i resolve this issue.
Please help.

Thanks in advance.

when i do the same and use a mirror , i use http://mirror.centos.org/centos/6/os/i386/ ...

So do you think you may need ftp://192.168.2.200/pub/centos6/os/i386/ ?

i forget if it's trailing slash or not (it DOES make a difference)

i was trying to emphasize the /os/i386 part.

(locate the install.img file on your storage and use the full path to it.)

if that's not the issue, maybe it's not allowing anonymous ftp. ?

good luck.
