SFTP with Active Directory authentication (need help)


Hi Everyone!

I need help how to configure SFTP server on Centos box and to authenticate users to Active Directory.

Appreciate your help..

SFTP is authenticated by the system. So if you setup your system to authenticate from AD then sftp should auth from it as well. There are many ways to do it, either directly let the centos box auth to AD as an ldap server, or use a utility like winbind. You will want to weigh up those options before you move forward. Both have their advantages/disadvantages.
