problems with the administrator password

Hello

I have a DNS server installed on a CentOS and when I make changes asking for the password of another user, not the Root, I am new to this and I would like to have a response explained, thank you very much.

So you want to type in another user's password instead of root? This can be done with the sudoers file, but if you're completely new to Linux, typing in the root password to make administrative changes are the norm for CentOS and most distros, and the best way to leave it in most cases.
