not able to access gmail from centos 6
 

I have installed centos 6.2 desktop version. I am not able to access gmail. It is waiting at accounts.google.com

I tried with firefox as well as chrome. There is no network problem since I am able to install new packages.

Other websites are also restricted. Please help.

Install Centos 6.7. Version 6.2 is not maintained anymore.

Then a few questions.
Did you sign in to your Google account before accessing gmail.com?
What do you see when you try to access gmail.com?
Can you access google.com?
Can you access accounts.google.com?
Can you sign in?
Can you access support.google.com and follow the suggested troubleshooting steps for Gmail? In particular https://support.google.com/mail/trou..._topic=3406259 ("gmail is slow, unresponsive or not loading").

It is waiting on accounts.google.com.

I am waiting for answers to my questions. Not urgent though.

I forgot to add this question: You say that other sites are also restricted. Which sites? And are there any sites that you can reach with the browser?

6.2 is UNSUPPORTED!!!!
and it is MISSING 4 YEARS OF SECURITY UPDATES!!!!!!!
