load ebtables rule at boot with Centos 7

Dear all,

We have a sophisticated ebtables rule necessary for our routing rules in our bridge. It is working perfect when we type the rule at the command line.

Now we try to store the rule in a way it will also apply at reboot of the system (CentOS 7).
Tried to create to add the file to rc.local (as described on https://wiki.debian.org/BridgeNetworkConnections)

EBTABLES_ATOMIC_FILE=/root/ebtables-atomic ebtables -t nat --atomic-save

EBTABLES_ATOMIC_FILE=/etc/ebtables-atomic ebtables -t nat --atomic-commit

but unfortunately this does not work, any help will be appreciated,

Kind Regards,

Henk

RHEL7/CentOS7 use systemd.

This link tells you how to enable rc.local for RHEL7 so should also work on CentOS7 since it is derived from RHEL7 source.

Solved it by calling a separate .sh from rc.local.

Thank you for your help.
