kickstart nfs error

hi all,

im trying to make or should i say i have created a kickstart using the GUI of the kickstart configurator

i have pasted my config file here -

#platform=x86, AMD64, or Intel EM64T

#version=DEVEL

# Firewall configuration

firewall --disabled

# Install OS instead of upgrade

install

# Use NFS installation media

nfs --server=192.168.1.91 --dir=/media/RT0/IT/rob/centos6.7/install.img

# Root password

rootpw --iscrypted $1$UUqaO1YJ$YSWjn3X2DdOml7fvBkfa2/

# System authorization information

auth --passalgo=sha512 --enableldap --enableldapauth --ldapserver=ldap01 --ldapbasedn=dc=vfx,dc=molinare

# Use graphical install

graphical

firstboot --disable

# System keyboard

keyboard uk

# System language

lang en_GB

# SELinux configuration

selinux --disabled

# Installation logging level

logging --level=info

# System timezone

timezone Europe/London

# Network information

network --bootproto=dhcp --device=eth0 --onboot=on

# System bootloader configuration

bootloader --location=mbr

# Partition clearing information

clearpart --all

# Disk partitioning information

part / --fstype="ext4" --grow --size=1

-------

i keep on getting this error, when i do an unattended install of a machine -

"unable to read group information from repositries. this is a problem with the generation of your install tree"

the thing is when i take out the kickstart line in the default file ie ks=nfs:ip_address:/share, it all works, it goes through the installation process and completes

anyone know why

cheers

rob

A quick search revealed this: https://www.centos.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=4710 and http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1...start-on-a-dvd

its not a problem with the iso tho as if i do a manual install without using the kickstart file ie not unattended mode it works

sorted

instead of the kickstart line that says

nfs --server=192.168.1.91 --dir=/media/RT0/IT/rob/centos6.7/install.img

i made it like

nfs --server=192.168.1.91 --dir=/media/RT0/IT/rob/centos6.7

then when i started of the network boot on machine, and it picked up the kickstart file from there, it gave the same error and it gave me the option to change the location of the nfs share so i then added the nfs share like so

media/RT0/IT/rob/centos6.7/install.img

and to my suprise it worked, dont know why and how but it did, as its exactley the same
