How to free LVM pool space after initial install?

I have build a Centos 7.9 server with a very basic LVM config. Basically want just one big pool for VMs. After the initial install, there is zero free space in the device/pool. Any ideas why? What did I do wrong during the partition config? Is there an easy way to add the space back into the pool (vg_tvchost4)?

[root@tvc-host4 ~]# df -h

devtmpfs 63G 0 63G 0% /dev
tmpfs 63G 0 63G 0% /dev/shm
tmpfs 63G 9.3M 63G 1% /run
tmpfs 63G 0 63G 0% /sys/fs/cgroup
/dev/mapper/vg_tvchost4-root 5.7T 2.5G 5.7T 1% /
/dev/sda2 2.0G 158M 1.9G 8% /boot
tmpfs 13G 0 13G 0% /run/user/0
[root@tvc-host4 ~]# ssm list

Should be pretty obvious from the df listing - you've allocated it all to the root filesystem.

No.
LVM is designed to offer this sort of flexibility, but your use of XFS negates that - it can't be shrunk; or couldn't last I looked. Basically you'd be better off re-installing, and use ext4 for both the root and /boot. Then you can resize at whim.

Also in future when posting output wrap it in [code] tags - help us help you.
