I don't use CentOS so I can't help you with your query but you should change your user name ASAP -- you are about to get all the spam in the world in your inbox...

What kind of notify would you expect?
1) a sound?
2) something on screen?
3) somebody tipping you on your shoulder?

if it was 1): does sound work at all?
if it was 3): send him to make a sandwhich

which environment are you in?
KDE
GNOME
...

seriously: why would this be a CentOS specific question?

I'm using gnome centos6.6

My problem is 'when a message received it'll not notify me as "you have one message or any icon blinking.."'...i understand after i have maximized the application only...but every time i can't follow this step..
