Embedded videos will not work in twitter. CentOS 6.7. Firefox 38.7

CentOS 6.7 x64_86

Code:
$ uname -a
Linux localhost.localdomain 2.6.32-573.18.1.el6.x86_64 #1 SMP Tue Feb 9 22:46:17 UTC 2016 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
Firefox ESR 38.7.0

Every video embedded in twitter has this message: "This browser does not support video playback."

I have flash loaded. But I have problems all the time.

install Chrome

the current FF 45
https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/45.0/
or the current esr
https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/45.0esr/

run just fine on CentOS 6.7

you will find that a lot of sites are not moving to html5 but the MICROSOFT supported flash
googles pepper-flash works

by chance do you have "no-script" or the EFF's "privacy badger " installed ?
these can block the third party scripts that the advertisers Require for the video to play

I upgraded to FF45, and twitter videos now seem to work.

Oddly, flash does not work anywhere else.

Flash does not work in firefox, chrome, or midori. It is installed, but it does not work.

about flash:
it is rarely required these days.
having the wrong flashplugin installed can cause more harm than good; i have none installed, and 99% of all sites & videos work (because they use html5).
