Hello. I had been tethering with Debian Wheezy and Arch Linux with no issues and assumed that this kind of easy handling would spill over into Centos 6. I had no luck/love so far unfortunately.
This mainly involved the creation of a /etc/udev/rules.d/51-android.rules per the link here:
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php...g_with_AziLink for use with an android app called AziLink and then opening an openvpn session. I got as far as being able to run the commands:
adb forward tcp:41290 tcp:41290
openvpn azilink.ovpn
And the connection being established, but I can't ping 8.8.8.8 right after that I normally can upon connection with the other OSes.
PS the use of a wifi hotspot isn't included in my data plan, which is one of the many reasons why I'm looking at usb tethering. Cheers.
