Yea, we have not included it into cAos at this point. Unfortunatly (or maybe fortunatly) I (and the other devels) have not had to use it. My hardware uses the MADWifi chip, and some of the others use chips that are in the kernel (orinoco IIRC).

no worries, it taught me a bunch about linux and life really.

anyone can compile the ndiswrapper from source, but if it was included in the distro's base package that would be helpful.

trying the arch linux again, and it doesn't have Make (or you guys don't have make in your packages... i forget now, as it's all a blur).

i'll try caos again later, have switched to ubuntu for the moment, as a break from xandros. i like the gnome desktop environ... it's kinda cool.

thanks guys for trying, and hopefully you got something to go with now. lol.
