ok stefan/ylee: this is what i have. there seems to be no share or themes - stefan said: in (/usr/share/themes) I do not recall exactly but in local there is a share file and no themes, in .e there is a themes folder with nothing in there. As i said earlier i tried creating a folder for the one instance and put it in the known themes folder in the other. rebooted too and nothing shows up. what is worng? i did not delete any relevant stuff. you know i do not know what i am doing so i tend to stay awaya from the hidden files area.

hey i actually got it to load the pic...

Norman, are you still struggling with that GTK theme I sent you?

1. Open terminal
2. Change directory to place where Radiance.tar.gz is placed (cd Downloads for example)
3. tar -xvf Radiance.tar.gz
4. sudo cp -r Radiance /usr/share/themes

Be careful in writing letters. Linux is case sensitive.

enjoy

Štefan

Norman, you can not copy folder from your home folder if there is no Radiance subfolder. Go to that folder where unpacked folder is situated. Why did not go there? In pcmanfm go there and rename destination folder to Radiance firstly.

Then

cd Documents/linux/bodhi
sudo cp -r Radiance /usr/share/themes

ok i give up - i am lost. i do not follow at all. the radiance folder is in your folder inside of bodhi folder etc. as i explained. i created a folder to house the tar.gz of yours and also the unpacked radiance folder too.

maybe now you see i am dumb and after 20 attempts i just give up. Ok i will leave it as is - i won;t bug you again with this issue.

thanks my friend! j
call it just dumb as a door nail!
