It took several minutes to load the headers for the bodhi repos. Then it said they couldn't be authenticated, but I went install anyway. Now it says unable to fetch the bodhi archives. All this is with apt-get.
Ahh yes - Dan our server ended up going down due to the high volume of traffic after our latest release. We upgraded to a faster server Sunday afternoon so hopefully it will never happen again.
As for authenticated VS non-authenticated... I am going to get some "boo urns" for saying this but I don't think it's that important. Authenticating packages was an after thought added into apt that really doesn't protect against anything as everyone tends to add permission for all sorts of different sources to their system.
