Pop-Up Notifications configuration

Some apps seem to put pop-up notifications on the top-right of my screen. However, the box they appear in is usually too small to contain the full text of the notification. Clicking on the box when it appears does nothing, and once they disappear, I don't know where to read them.

Any info on these things? They seem to often be error messages, I've seen them from Gradio and Qbittorrent.

Hmm, I understand

I don't know any solution for this off hand. The only setup dialog related to Moksha notifications is this:

Maybe there could be a better notif alternative but I don't know.

EDIT: go to modules section and on "Core" tab unload the notification module. Another notification daemon should take care of notifs. Give it a try. Maybe the displaying area will be greater...

i had struggled with this as well. the notification was too small to allow me to pair a bluetooth device because the accept button was always out of the area. i unloaded the module as you suggested and the difference was night and day. thanks so much

Well I tried unloading the module, but I dunno how to force a notification to test it. I haven't seen anything yet, and I'm purposefully running both apps I'd noticed notifications from before, so I'll give it some time.

Try this:

Code:
notify-send yo
If you see it in the expected place, it's a desktop notification.

i used bluetooth to test mine. paired it with my phone and the notification was much larger and i could click on the button to accept. in case that doesn't or wouldn't work for some reason, i sent myself an email with thunderbird and the popup for that was also much easier to read.

Me neither. But I'll wait to see if I get any real notifications. It's not like I'm missing anything if they're broken, they were unreadable before anyway.
