Password on startup

Hi Group,

I just installed Bodhi Linux on my elderly Acer Aspire One Netbook.
Pleased to report, everything is running just fine.

Just wondering, when I was going through the installation, I opted for the computer to start up without a password.
Can I change that now? I think I'd prefer being asked for my password when I log in.

Hello

Open terminolgy
sudo nano /etc/lightdm/lightdm.conf

remove your user name from this line
autologin-user=

save with CTRL X

Thanks Stefan, but that didn't appear to work.

eatDefaults]
allow-guest=false
autologin-user=philip
autologin-user-timeout=0
autologin-session=enlightenment

It doesn't appear to be saving the changes. Am I missing something.
I've done Ctrl X

Phil

Have you used sudo in front of the command?

OK, lets try something simpler
sudo leafpad /etc/lightdm/lightdm.conf

Now remove philip and save

Enjoy

Stefan
