Old Bodhi need enlightenment update, how to?

An old pc is running an old distribution of Bodhi Linux I would like to upgrade.
This is running and installed: 3.2.0-4-486 Ubuntu 3.2.57-3+deb7ul i686 GNU/Linux.
Hardware HP mini 1000LA
Brainstorm ideas:
What are you recommendations?

System is unable to get upgrades from repositories that seem that are no longer addressed the same.
Enlightenment also is old.

It sounds as if this version so old that it is no longer supported; in other words, it has passed "end of life" (EOL). (A web search for "Bodhi Linux end of life" turned up no useful links.)

I suspect that your best bet is to back up any crucial data to external media and install a current version, but I checked the Bodhi website, and the current release seems to be available only in a 64-bit version.

You may need to look at something like MX or AntiX for this machine. I've tested them both and they are both nice jobs of work.

Great feedback, I saw that Bodhi has a legacy version for old pc. Recently I installed the distro Q4OS on another dinosaur laptop. It works. Will try the legacy version and report here how did it go.

It is fascinating to see these old systems getting a second life cycle opportunity, the question remaining is for how long old systems are they going to be supported?

Perhaps a risk assessment will put them to rest for good. However, they are a good environment for getting to know Linux basics, self-teach coding, or help a fellow that cannot afford a pc.

Couldn't install legacy Bodhi

Tried to install the most recent Bodhi legacy version on the old netbook, ending up installing successfully Puppy Linux Bionic 32 bits instead.

Hit the initramfs wall. Used unetbootin tool to create the USB with distribution. Verified the forums from ubuntu and other sources looking for a solution. It is possible that while creating the USB some paths directed to a CD reader. Nevertheless, in the future, would like to bring back Bodhi to the PC, liked how it ran and the desktop graphic appeal.

Created the USB bootable drive with Windows 10 reading the ISO from hard drive.

Created the Puppy linux USB bootable drive booting from a live Puppy CD run.

Does Bodhi has a tool that loads with a live CD to create a bootable USB as Puppy Linux has "BootFlash install Puppy to USB"?

Unetbootin won't work for bodhi 5.x and you get that initramfs stuff.

If you're using windows, use a free program called "rufus" to write the iso to usb. When prompted, select "dd" mode (not iso/joliet mode).

(if using linux, use dd to write the iso to usb).
