Yes, I will explain

Bodhi Linux is based on Ubuntu with Moksha desktop on the top. Moksha is an application based on EFL (enlightenment foundation library) and all desktop widgets are based on this library. Widgets I mean all widget toolkit stuff under moksha (buttons, entry, scrollbars etc). You can theme it under theme item in settings menu.

BUT

There are also another applications based on GTK, QT, Elementary toolkits which are not possible to theme from Moksha settings. They are independent and you have to theme it independently. So lxappearance is a setting window related to GTK+ apps.

ok, thanks.
After last update I got an issue with keybard layout.
I added En+Ru layouts, changed hot-key to Ctrl-Shift, applied.
Now I pressed Ctrl-Shift, Moksha restarted, layout icon disappeared.

You can also change the GTK apps theme in other setting. Try to follow this method

menu, settings, settings panel

If you want to use lxappearance, uncheck "Match Moksha theme if possible"

Took a look at this and I found the problem. Weird the issue doesn't occur using the default theme. But looking at it I did find some issue with the theme Bodhi uses by default. Stefan has the theme issues fixed now i think, but maybe not in the repos yet.

But back to keyboard layout issue. It was more than a theme issue. No use to go into the technical details but I have it fixed and am updating moksha now. It will be in the repos today. Thanks for reporting.

Two themes was affected and I fixed the error messages according Ylee's notes. Fixes commited to my github. I'm still working on some problematic GTK themes for upcoming BL 5.1 release. I think it should be OK until the end of next week. I will prepare all maintained deb packages...
