Moksha Forum theme

Hello there

After Sunday work on the Forum theme I am happy to announce the fixed new release. Moksha widgets have been fixed as well as GTK 3.20 was added and completely recolored with some widgets modifications.
I am opening this thread for testings and feedback...

sudo apt install bodhi-theme-moksha-forum

Stefan

PS: the forum theme was related to old, closed Bodhi Linux forum which was in green colors. The official Bodhilinux page is in these colors also.

Excellent work, Stefan. So far everything works exactly right, apart from the scroll bars on some applications - they are blue or grey instead of green.
Regards, Roger

Thanx Roger, please post a screenshot. It always has the bigger value for developer.

Anyway, thanx for the feedback.

OK

I probably found the issue by myself. After some experiments with colors and shapes I can provide my scroll bars solution. As I said many times I am not graphic expert thus if I think I do the best the result could not be so attractive. I also found the issue in the script which is related to horizontal scroll bar also in seven theme. Great

Now the screenshot:

It is more time consuming than I expected. I had to also modify buttons color and many more. I will not rush in asking Ylee for packaging. This really needs some care.

What a nightmare this must be for Stefan and other devs, trying to fix different themes with problems caused by upgrades. I have kept my main machine still running Bodhi 4 (with the Forum theme), and that is 100% perfect, absolutely superb. I won't be upgrading it to Bodhi 5 anytime soon.

Hello

There is nothing bad in using older Bodhi release. I also keep some old machines with BL 3.2.1 which perfectly fits to that HW. We worked really hard on BL 5 release. The main changes were made to Moksha desktop. More than 200 commits made mainly by Ylee and some by me. This way I want to let you know, Ylee did a superb job in the Moksha background unfortunately invisible for end user eyes but very important for desktop stability. This is really nice hobby but not very well paid It is "pro bono" work so we really appreciate your good reviews or feedback for our further motivation. Thanx

Stefan
