Lost the Toolbar how can I get it back?
 

menu to settings to settings panel - and look all around for various thins - there is ibar where you can setup apps in the so called taskbar that you are talkibg about. maybe not helpful . will check better later todat and try to be more helpful.

also look at modules too... that maybe a better place.

There is no info provided, no screenshots just a brief status of your trouble. Sorry but this way no your problem will be answered or solved. So my answer to your trouble with toolbar: sorry, I can not help you

I don't blame you as i am new to Linux and reading here and there

i think what i am talking about is where i can see the time and such that has disappeared

can you take a screenshot of it? do you have any kind of a bar and maybe nothing on/in it?

maybe try adding a shelf? you may have deleted it?

phew....mad do not know where to begin. seriously try reinstalling and be VER CAREFUL about tweaking and setting stuff up. i know i have been there over the last 15 years of linux and i still know squat!

you definitely have been tweaking stuff from what isee and that is not an initial install.

sorry i cannot do anymore - have had a lond day. surprised i am trying this hard considering i put my dog /best friend down and buried him today near the garden and vineyards.

Yes that is what i am talking about

the only thing i did do was to add an ibar and choose the apps i wanted to have. i also made it centered and expansive vs. spreading across and i tweaked to size smaller.

when i first saw enlightnement it blew me away for thos that have shelves or whaver all over the dektop etc... it was wild but back then the distros were sketchy and the first initial one no one helped unless you were advanced but it was nice. to this day i cannot find and do not remeber it but it had red on the main desktop. furstrtaed me and also the learning curve was tough. never got wireless going because they never got it going unless you knew what you were doing then i found bodhi - a learning curve but not that bad. now for my basic needs it is natural and other stuff sucks and seems more like windows to me.

like i said reinstall and start from there - you need help ask and we can walk you through some setups and places to go to tweak.
write notes too. i have files for this.

i also have multiple laptops running bodhi and 1 debian and i refer to the others when i have to do a new install - and now hopefully i am good until 2022 or 2023 and i may be dead by then.

then my wife can do her thing, since i am the semi-it guy here!
