Hello

Open the terminology and write

sudo apt install default-jre

or

sudo apt install openjdk-xx-jre
where xx = 8 or 11 in Ubuntu repository depends on version you need

Stefan

PS: I am pretty sure you should be able to google how to install java in Linux...

There are apps, which require Java 8, even if Java 11 is installed by default.

In that case, you should install openjdk-8-jre and force version 8 to be used (both versions can exist next to each other on the same system).

To do this, type

Code:
sudo update-alternatives --config java
into the terminal and choose the according number (probably a 2).
