Hello there
Compton with proper compton.conf file should do this job. Stefan |
Thanks I figured it out.

Could you post your solution as a knowledge base for other users, please?

well,
I just apt install compton. Then you may have to edit the config file ~/.config/compton.conf in order to avoid transparency on application like VLC and so on, you can also choose the level of transparency etc. I don't remember the link where I found the documentation but I think you can google it quite easily. After that I ran swami to add compton on startup applications. I keep following the thread so do not hesitate if you need further information. Regards |
I can't seem to find the compton.conf anywhere. Can you post the content of yours so I can have something to work with? All I'm trying to do get conky to be transparent.

the advice I can give you is to use the command "find"
I hope you'll get the thing with that keep the posting |
