You can enter terminal commands to execute at startup via the Swami Control Panel. Click Startup Applications, then Startup Commands and you should see a space to enter a command. You can enter "conky" there and also include some command line settings if you want like "-b" or load a custom profile like "-c ~/.profile/conky/conky.conf".

for the win, kind Sweater Fish Deluxe! thank you i remember taking a look at swami for some reason or other a while back, but it just didn't come to mind in regards to my conky quest.
