GUI app with root priv


Hi.
I try to run Synaptic and see nothing.
Found in log something related to security agent(not sure).
It's possible to run it in console "sudo synaptic" only.
Actually it's true for all the similar app, like gparted, etc.

This is indeed an ongoing issue that they are either working to fix, or have fixed, I don't fully understand myself, but one of the bodhi devs posted this as a fix:

You can also run synaptic from terminal with...
