Nice. I also like this wallpaper and green theme. Anyway I want to tell the quick launcher (alt esc in my case) is so addictive that I pressed it at least thousands times under Windows at my office The same told me also my colleague I installed him Bodhi

How do you get that battery gadget in the middle of your desktop? I don't see any way to put a shelf anywhere besides the borders and I couldn't find a way to control desktop contents...

Battery gadget does not "sit" on the shelf in this case. You can add any gadget (in case it is loaded in module settings) to the desktop via menu-settings-gadgets. When you place it on the desktop the frame is around the gadget and you can grab it for removing or resizing. But yes, you are right, some gadgets are possible to place on the shelf.

Neat. Never noticed that. It seems, after playing around with it, that you don't need a shelf for anything except the system tray. And I'd already discovered if you make the shelf invisible, it can't hold the system tray. Otherwise, especially with this new knowledge, I wouldn't even need a shelf.
