If you're very interested in the history of Bodhi Linux you can try contacting Jeff Hoogland, one of its original developers. Tell him V.T. Eric Layton from Scot's Newsletter Forums sent you. :)

Well, you're probably correct, but the closest you'll get to a history of Bodhi currently may be the Wikipedia article, which doesn't say much. I "met" Jeff at Scot's Newsletter Forums - Bruno's All Things Linux back when he was first working on Bodhi. If you'd like to know about the beginnings, I'm sure Jeff is the man to talk to about that. However, I do not believe he has anything to do with Bodhi Linux these days, so he would not be able to do anything about your opinion of having a History on the website.

We need Jeff to write an autobiography of his life. I'd buy it. From something I dunno to his own distro to teacher to playing video games for money. I wanna be him. This is the kinda book that will sell millions.

@safaia... you're finding lots of interesting tid bits about Bodhi, huh?
You should actually change the name of this thread to "A History of Bodhi Linux" and ask a mod if they can "pin" it here in the Bodhi sub-forum. |
