[solved] Cant log into Moksha anymore

My mouse got frozen during some major file copy operations. So I used TAB to get to a terminal and did a reboot. The mouse works again but I cant log into my account with Moksha. Log-in appears, I try to log in, the screen becomes black for a few seconds, then I see the log-in again.

I cleared the cache for Enlightenment but still does not work

Seems to have something to do with no space available. But the drive should have space.

/dev/mapper/bodhi-vg-root is 100% full

apt can't even write a few bytes but there is enough space. I can copy and move files.

Nobody? It is urgent. I travel tomorrow. This is a nightmare.

Try Knoppix live running from USB. Copy files that you need to another UBB drive.

Ok. What does this mean? Beyond repair?

I booted a Bodhi live USB stick. When I copied two large hard drives the same thing happened. After the copying was finished, the mouse froze. The mouse may also have hardware issues based on dmesg. I will have to look into it. I won't have access to my desktop for one week since I am travelling.

But it should be possible to repair the system since I can reboot and get a terminal. There must be a file system issue (I checked when I booted with the USB stick, the filesystem is "clean") and Moksha.

No your system is most likely not beyond repair. Since you do have access to a terminal, what I would do is try to find what files are taking up all the space. Maybe some temp files in your home dir or perhaps log files or maybe something else. If you google this issue other people have had a similar problem and as far as I can tell this is what they did.

Yes, I faced this issue twice. I do not know which bodhi version you are using but I added a feature to the places module to monitor disk space for every mounted partition. Places module should be loaded by default and shows the warning when the usage exceeds 90%.

Solved. Was really just a SSD space problem.

Just to be precise in completed info, right click on the places gadget, set settings.
