Question Anyone have an opinion on .desktop file for PCManFM?

Here's another .desktop file for making the file manager run as root, and I think this one is written by the PCManFM developer. It's the section that begins with the words admin:// method.

I have no idea what it's doing or if it would work any better than Stefan's edit for the file gparted.desktop. That's at the 'other end' of the link you gave.

I am also finding PCManFM modifications for getting run as root to appear in its context menu, but I don't think we're looking for that.
