Bodhi themes new feature

Hello there

I have already mentioned this but I think it deserves a standalone new thread. Bodhi Linux 5.1 brings the new features related to all themes I maintain:
  • fixed edje part
  • newly updated GTK and other themes created in Oomox tool
  • experimental new monochrome icon set created in Oomox tool
  • moksha new item added to application theme icons setting called "Match Moksha theme if possible" for automatic theme set

The main goal was to theme the whole desktop environment from one place, not separately. It means, if you go to menu-settings-themes and select your favorite theme this will change:

1. Moksha theme
2. Elementary theme (for ephoto, terminology etc.)
3. GTK theme
4. Icons set
5. Splash moksha screen

If you do not agree with the icon set or GTK theme, simply choose the one you like. But uncheck "match moksha theme if possible" in GTK or Icons section.

These themes include the new feature:

bodhi-theme-moksha-arc-green
bodhi-theme-moksha-blingbling
bodhi-theme-moksha-blueelectric
bodhi-theme-moksha-crema
bodhi-theme-moksha-detour
bodhi-theme-moksha-forum
bodhi-theme-moksha-green
bodhi-theme-moksha-kl4k
bodhi-theme-moksha-moonlight
bodhi-theme-moksha-passion
bodhi-theme-moksha-radiance
bodhi-theme-moksha-seven
bodhi-theme-moksha-sunshine
also default E theme

Last words: "Match Moksha theme if possible" for icons is not set by default due one minor accident in git hub, so enable it in setting if you want use this feature.

Stefan

Great Job on this. A job that never ends...

I don't think many people understand how much work is involved in keeping these themes up to date and working well with all the EFL changes.

Nope, can't and won't say I do.

Sorry if I come off "as bad", not intentional by any means. The theme that comes with 5.1.0 is fine, except my eyes couldn't handle it.

Thanx Robert

Only we both know about all hard job behind the scene. Too big load for 2 developers. The only salary is green reputation squares under the profile name

I'd show more appreciation if there was a patreon account.

I've been a very happy and content Bodhi user for around 4 years now, it just works.

I really don't do anything myself. You (the developers) do it all, I mean all, even taking the time to help others.
