BL 5.0 is already out for some months but I never tried it with 2 monitors but did so some days ago in my office. I noticed there is an issue with boot splash theme also knows as Plymouth theme where the logo and spinner are not at the right place on the both monitors. It looks really ugly and nonpro. I confirmed this state also at home with TV connected to PC via HDMI. All wrong.
As I never came across the Plymouth theme scripts it took me some time to understand the stuff and the result is the package in testing repo branch. If you are interested, install it for some testings and feedback please.
Thanks for reporting this to me a couple of days ago and for also fixing it. That is kind of issue report i like I will test it this weekend or something after I get a spare HDMI cable.
This isn't really important, but I'll mention it. At one point months ago I tried to change my startup splash, couldn't get it doing what I wanted, tried to restore back to default, somehow ended up with ubuntu logo boot screen (the purple screen shown here https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Plymouth) and gave up.
When I boot, I get text for 20 seconds of messages, then ubuntu splash long enough for three or four of the dots to light up, then black screen for ~20 seconds, then nvidia splash, then black screen again, then my desktop. No bodhi or moksha splash.
I thought maybe installing this package would get it back to bodhi normal. But I don't see any change
So I selected 1 then did the update initramfs, and reboot now changed the ubuntu loghi back to bodhi. I still don't get the moksha splash, not sure how I got rid of that.
I found a little bug in bodhi-plymouth-theme. Simply, I do not know why but my early fix was not implemented. Unfortunately nobody tried the package (probably because it was in testing repository or do not have 2 monitors) thus the bug stayed hidden. I've repacked the package and uploaded to the main repo. Any feedback is appreciated.

Another bodhi-plymouth-theme version has been uploaded to main repository. I reacted to Enigma9o7's issue with 4k monitor issue with bad background position. It was really hard to find a monitor with higher resolution than Full HD but I did. Please let me know the state of the screen logo, spinner and background. I will appreciate it. I would like to have it OK for upcoming release.
