Bodhi 5.1.0 legacy installation fails with illegal instruction

I am on a Thinkpad T23 (32bit, first Laptop I bought, i would never throw it), trying to install bodhi 5.1.0 legacy. It boots nice from cd or via pxe, but during installation process ubiquity crashes with

Code:
Illegal Instruction (core dumped)
It happens after i enter the user accounts details. I couldn't find the core dump anywhere on the system.

Any suggestions?

This is not a real suggestion and probably won't help, but it's what I'd try. Assuming you installed from the startup menu, instead I'd start the live (since you said that works) then install from there.

Oh, and stop breaking the law!

Hello there

Today I installed Bodhi 5.1 legacy on Sony Vaio PCG 7162. I had some difficulties with installation via USB, so I had to install from DVD. All succeed here.
What I did before the installation was checking the MD5 file. As I do not know your Linux skills I will write here a method also for our new users:

1. Download suitable iso file you want to install
2. Download a MD5 file binded to iso (name is the same with md5 extension)
https://sourceforge.net/projects/bod...x/files/5.1.0/
3. Open the terminal go to the places you ISO is downloaded
4. Type md5sum bodhi-xxx.iso

example:
stefan@M93:~/Downloads$ md5sum bodhi-5.1.0-64.iso
a6828d3d092505af54783f7002ba71a7 bodhi-5.1.0-64.iso

5. This outcome has to be the same as md5 file you downloaded. If not, the iso is broken and you can face weird behaving

Stefan

Unhappy

Thanks for your ideas, @the_waiter and @enigma9o7, but unfortunately they couldn't solve the problem!

I tried both, to install from boot menu and from live session with same result.

I checked it and the md5sum is correct.

If someone could tell me, where to find that core dump, it would help me a lot. I started ubiquity from command line in the home dir. I expected to find the core dump there, but there was nothing.
