I got in a really bad car accident Wednesday morning. From the look of the video, it should have killed me, but it didn't even break anything. I've been in tons of pain and whatnot but that is receding, at a rate which amazes me. As I was driving a company car, and as they have a point system which this accident puts me over, I have been separated from my employment, as they euphemistically put it. I'm hoping I use the time off healing to find a job in computers, which I've been wanting but think myself underqualified for forever... I'm 67 now, hard to find entry level jobs where they could hire a college kid for less than I'm worth.

What my real skill appears to be is in installing Linux. While I'm not any good these days in Windows, haven't used it since 2016, I currently have 9 distros installed across my 2 laptops (6 on the Galago Pro 2, 3 on the Kudu 3) and am constantly swapping something out. Right now I seem to be stuck on Linux Mint, Bodhi, and OpenMandriva with other distros moving in and out of the other slots. That experience should be useful for people who want to know where to go with their old Win7 machines which should not be running Win10 but they don't have money for a new machine.
