Tried again today to install a new distro - in this case OpenSUSE 11.0. Failed again, because no distro other than Mint will recognize and work with my Samsung Syncmaster 2032BW. Suse installed nicely but wouldn't configure the display to anything other than 1027x768. Mint Elyssa wouldn't work either, so I reinstalled Mint Daryna, which works like a dream.
