This blog is meant for those who wish to install DNS server on their system.
Whenever you make any changes to the configuration files - named.conf, named.conf.local or named.conf.options and restart the service bind9, do check the entries in the resolv.conf file.
This file is found in the /etc/ directory and this file takes the previous configuration IP addresses despite the bind9 service being restarted.
I faced this problem and currently I am finding the reason for this anomaly. So, in the meant time if you are to install DNS server do take a note of this fact.
