Anyone else noticed?

Has anyone else noticed, or is it just me but, in that film "Young frankenstein" with Gene Wilder; doesn't the monster look like Steve Ballmer?

If anyone has a geniatech T328B DVB-T USB stick, and running Ubuntu or Mint, this blog shows how to get it working I use Kaffeine with mine. Just scroll down the blog page you'll find it.

Smile everyone!

I downloaded a program called "Smile" I think it stands for "Slideshow Maker In a Linux Environment". The program just comes in an archive, which you extract anywhere you want, open the folder and double click in the "smile" icon.

The program is supposed to really easy to use with a pleasant interface; if you get it to work? When you start the program it's supposed to tell you what dependancies are missing, not for me anyway! I clicked on the icon and,...

Trying Mepis

Well, I got hold of the DVD from Linux Format Magazine yesterday. I decided; out of interest and after making a disk image of my system (on my Toshiba Equium laptop which is nothing special but works fine) using "ping" to install PCLinuxOS. The DVD comes up with a menu to boot PCLinuxOS live CD, Mepis live CD, well actually a few different ways of running Mepis, a standard way and one that let you run Mepis by letting it use all your ram if you have 1GB and over.
