Can't relax

Posted 05-30-2009 at 05:10 PM by uinseann

I have been tiling the kitchen; all day, and after a shower I thought I would sit at the computer for awhile ... surf the net then watch a DVD, because I've no energy left ... drained, just a husk, you could knock me down with a tea bag! But there's a problem; there's a spider living under the central heating pump! I cannot stand the things, and this one is about 2 inch from stem to stern.

I saw him or her, last night, but before I could get a big jar over him (well I don't like killing them), he shot off back towards the pump! So that's my problem, I know they only come out at night, so I'm sat here (it's nearly 11.00pm), with one eye on the computer, and the other eye scanning the doorway.

One of my family lives in Japan, and he laughs at me and my spiders, he says I should see them where he lives! He was sat having a burger (or a sparrow on a stick or something) one day, when he noticed the door kept swishing open and shut, but nobody came in or went out? The next time the door opened he happened to look down, and saw a spider about 6 inches in size just walking in, and then went under a table which he presumed meant it was looking for something to eat. He looked round but everyone else just went about their business, not bothered at all. He just raised his legs, but then had to leave it was just too much to keep looking round all the time. He says it's the same in his flat, all the food has to be sealed because the cockroaches are everywhere, he says you spray them to kill them, then seal them in a bag and bin them. They are massive. Makes me feel a bit stupid worrying about my spider!
