It's been ages since I posted something here, but, my view is that if and when someone posts anything, it'd better be worth posting. Do not waste anyone's time with, I'm not about to waste your time...

The word anyone out there is scared of:

...there, I scared you. Had one just this weekend. Arch update. Somehow the kernel didn't compile, somehow glibc didn't want to update, somehow some manual intervention had to...

Well, nobody said Linux is boring - well, I did'nt anyway.

This one's for all those Archers out there. So, here's a new install, and you want to update the system before proceeding. Good practice, so you enter

pacman -Syu
in the console (at first, that's all there is), pacman gets a once-over, so you re-issue the upgrade command...and get (after downloading and all)...

Old buildroot

Posted 10-07-2011 at 01:54 PM by Thor_2.0

Buildroot has been suggested here before. I downloaded it already and was looking for a tutorial. Well, I found one.

Next, why not try buildroot to set up something?

The question some will ask is: why?
