Just annotations of little "how to's", so I know I can find how to do something I've already done when I need to do it again, in case I don't remember anymore, which is not unlikely. Hopefully they can be useful to others, but I can't guarantee that it will work, or that it won't even make things worse.

Warning about "slimjet", a chrome-based browser

It's something like chrome with some extra add-ons/minor-but-good UI tweaks, claiming improvements in speed I guess.

But, unlike (Chr)Opera, Chromium, or Vivaldi, installing it (at least with their provided .deb installer) will mess up with your install of Chrome!

It kind of replaces it, I'm not sure the extent of the mess yet.

After just taking a look at it, and trying to run chrome as usual, it will display a message, "please run slimjet with the command flashpeak-slimjet", as it REPLACED the /etc/alternatives/google-chrome script! That's simply unacceptable!

When it's said the browser is a "replacement" for Chrome, it's not something naturally taken that literally!

Now I'm trying to fix this mess, possibly not after making it somewhat worse for a while.
