customizing

I feel like I need to catch up on some things. The last couple of days have been pretty good as far as progress in getting my computer set up exactly how I want it. I know I have probably said this several times, my wife tells me I do this all the time, but I keep finding just one more little thing that I want to do that will make things easier or more convenient, or just cool. Lubuntu conky and compton

Getting a good desktop with effects like shadows and stuff is the challenge here. After some fiddling around (conky doesnot play well with compton), I was able to get a working setup.

1. Installing compton
Code:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:richardgv/compton
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install compton
2. Open /home/<user>/.config/compton.conf, create one if it doesnot exist. Put these in

shadow = true;			# Enabled
