Code:
(1) In VLC media player select video>deinterlace>'discard or mean' whichever works. I can't believe there is no alternative of y,g key in vlc . It can shift all subtitles by specified seconds or change frame rate . What if srt is badly coded causing subtitles to appear early & sometimes late ?
Code:
(2) I like mplayer. mplayer -vf scale=<width>:<height>:1 #which means turn on interlaced scaling
