I don't know if anyone cares or not, but I moved about four months ago. I'm now living in Bisbee, Arizona. This place is like falling off the edge of the earth. Right now I'm having to type this in the public library since I don't currently have internet access. Life's been really strange for the past few months. Being here feels like living in an alien outpost. At least for the US, this is one of the last places one would ever expect to find me, myself especially.

Tell me it isn't so! Ok, I'm laughing at my self. But as an update, I've been heavily involved in planning my build of a new computer. I've already discussed it here, so I won't take time to repeat the introduction to the project. I'll only say what's been happening in the interim.

I started out by purchasing four Rechi R-22 compressors for my vapor-change system. And today, I just finalized the order of two York R-22 2-ton compressors. They're 230v monsters! I kept getting too much...

I've been somewhat sparse in my comments over the past few weeks. I was waiting until the first of August so the I would have the funds to continue with acquiring components for the project I'm involved in. I'd rather not waste reader's time with nothing to say. So I'll write when it's pertinent to do so.

But hey! It's the First of August. And this month is my birthday. Really getting old here on this end. Maybe using old and end in the same sentence isn't the smartest thing to do....

But I've been a bit surprised by what seems to be the number of people who have clicked on my first (original) two posts. Mind you, I don't know how many are actually reading them. But even though I wrote them first, the amount of clicks that separates them from the rest seems significant. I am kind of disappointed though, that no one (except psychicist) has answer my threads. I was expecting to get a lot of criticism. But instead, I've gotten nothing. I guess that's ok. I just wouldn't mind having...

A History of Insanity!

I'm going to list a few links showing two of my projects. One of them is completed. The second is just in the beginning stages.

This is the project in which I installed my first liquid-cooled system. You'll notice in this project I had special interest in reaching the coldest temperatures possible. I had been doing research into the use of hybrid systems, combining phase-change and heat-transfer fluid designs. These designs are now being reconsidered in my second project.
