This is the darkest corner inside my brain. Here I blog about Slackware, Linux in general, and all of my modds and hacks.
Theme Infinita Oscuridad
Well I have decided to build a new system. This system will be a full custom rig build by me. The Theme will be called "Infinita Oscuridad"
I am sure there is a few Linux Hardware enthusiast lurking around here...
So far here is what I got in the boiling pot.
Intel I7 2600+ K
Gigabyte A-X58A-UD3R
G.SKILL Ripjaws X + Turbulence II Series 16GB (4 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2133 (PC3 17000)
ENERMAX REVOLUTION85+ ERV1020EWT 1020W (Peak 1120W) ATX12V / EPS12V v2.92 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS SILVER Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply
EVGA GeForce GTX 480 x3 SLI
The case and colling (Water cooled) still to be determine.
This system will be purely for GPU/CPU crunching and it will be dedicated to LQ and the Slackware forum.
GPUGRID watch out!

No comments, just questions:
GPUGRID, what is that?
Why liquid cooling? ( -system work load level, -the i7 (my i3 is just air...), - convenient overkill )
How do you pronounce that handle? ( -Serial Die )Posted 10-29-2011 at 07:22 PM by 3dBdown -
