Installing Audacious Media Player in OSX?

Posted 04-26-2010 at 09:28 AM by Seph64

I'm getting a Mac soon, and I realize that I need a music player software for it.

Is it possible to install Audacious Media Player in OSX (Snow Leopard)? What apps would I need to install before installing it?

I don't mind compiling it if that is what I need to do.

Thank you in advance,

    Well, is it possible?

At the very least, anyone know a similar audio player for OSX?

    Thank you.

Well I actually got Audacious to compile.

    But it just Seg-Faults.

I really wish there was a Music Player software in OSX similar to Audacious or Winamp. Their functionality is what kept me coming to them. I just do not like iTunes outside of putting music on my iPod.

EDIT: Upon futher inspection, I have determined that one of the plugins might be causing audacious to crash. Which ones, I am not sure of.
