LFS 8.3 Done

On Nov 10,

I completed my second LFS system on the same Asus G73JW-XT1 (ROG, laptop). It is also an i386, non-PAE, non-systemd build with no separate boot partition. I have turned this build into a LAMP server.

Here are my build notes:

Asus G75JW-XT1, i7 (740QM, 1.73GHZ, 8GB RAM, 1TB Seagate Momuments)
complete test LAMP server, no GUI, no wifi
i386, non PAE kernel
two partitions
20gb data /dev/sda1
4gb swap /dev/sda2
only wired interface (Qualcomm Atheros AR8131 Gigabit) configured
.config ethernet settings:
CONFIG_NET_VENDOR_QUALCOMM=y
CONFIG_NET_VENDOR_ATHEROS=y
CONFIG_ATL1=y (I also set ATL2, ATL1C, ATLIE, ALX as well)
basic LFS compiled and configured
GRUB installed
system boots and wired NIC active

basic system plus the following BLFS packages:
wget
make-ca
which
pciutils (lspci)
fcron
libunistring
libidn2
apr
apr-util
pcre
apache (httpd, 2.4.34)
libxml2
php (7.2.9) (w/pdo-sqlite3, pdo-mysql, cli)
net-tools-CVS_20101030 (netstat)

mariadb (10.3.9)
libtirpc
prcsvc-proto
libnsl
vsftpd
unzip
sqlite (3.24.0)

compiled from source, not part of BLFS:
lftp (4.8.4), method:
wget https://lftp.yar.ru/ftp/lftp-4.8.4.tar.xz
tar -xvf lftp-4.8.4.tar.xz
cd lftp-4.8.4
./configure --prefix=/usr --with-openssl
make -j6
make check
make install
