Debian Xfce live CD dissapointing

Posted 08-06-2008 at 10:27 AM by richag77

I've recently received a Debian xfce live CD and it is the most trimmed down live CD that I have ever seen. In fact it almost has nothing on it(Just a file manager and some utilities and a browser that doesn't open). Download all the apps you want, you say. That would be the way to go if I could find the icon or menu item to click on to do the install. Is this just a way of distributing rather expensive drink coasters or is there some special way that is a guarded secret of how to install this OS?...
