A couple of surprising comments on Windows security!

I've noticed a couple of articles of late from pretty authoratitive sources stating what a lot of us already knew. This being that Microsoft Windows is a security liability.
This first link is from Dell. It clearly states in point 6 of the page that Ubuntu offers more security than Windows. Also, further down the page, it lists Ubuntu's anti virus and anti spyware apps as unwarranted!* I hope this page stays up and doesn't mysteriously disappear within a few days...
The second piece I chanced upon talks about an ex US government advisor who basically states that Microsoft Windows is a national security risk! This surprised me enough, I can only imagine that the good people in the Marketing/PR department at MS are still lying down in a darkened room at this very moment!
*Perhaps they overstepped the mark a little here. People might see this as licence to throw caution to the wind!

Well, looks like Dell amended the page linked to. It now does not specifically state that Ubuntu is safer than Windows in the way it did with the earlier version of the page. I wish I'd taken a screen shot now!
