The Plunge....

well, I talk to myself a lot so why not blither on in print too. Linux, what a discovery. I just turned my son's almost dead- well actually it was past dead.xp in rigor mortis- ergh! It is now a lean, mean Linux machine- trying to convince a teenager to make the jump was difficult, and that was mostly because of the whole iTunes thing, but we worked around that by stripping as much as possible from xp so it is merely an Itunes system and very little else on a small partition. Being no expert...

asterisk freepbx fatal error

we have a pbx backup server and try to sync both pbx server and when i goto freepbx GUI i got

FATAL ERROR
INSERT INTO globals (variable, value) values ('OUT_1','ZAP/g0') [nativecode=1062 ** Duplicate entry 'OUT_1' for key 1]SQL -
INSERT INTO globals (variable, value) values ('OUT_1','ZAP/g0')

Before it was working fine. Can anybody help me.

Are you tired of clicking the search box in Firefox to do searches or changing the search engine. Then surfraw is definitely for you. Get rid of the searchbox and use Surfraw.

REAL Firefox on Debian

Firefox has been back in Debian for a while.
Please see the Debian wiki Firefox page https://wiki.debian.org/Firefox
No Real Reason to follow this guide, it is way past outdated

This is all I do to use Firefox rather than Iceweasel.
1) download Firefox
2) extract to my /home/Downloads
3) symlink plugins by doing:

ln -s /usr/lib/iceweasel/plugins /home/craig/Downloads/firefox/plugins
4) open iceweasel with iceweasel -profilemanager and...
