Grub corrupt

How do you boot Linux if the boot loader is corrupt. System is stuck at 'grub>' prompt. You do not have a CD. Mount option does not work. And the LVM contains the Boot loader.

the lucdi bootscreen problem solved!!!

Hello... i moved to lucid lynx (ubuntu 10.04). Well i faced a problem after installing the Nvidia driver on my default install. The boot screen was so big that it was almost ugly. so i looked up some solutions on the bugs section of launchpad...and guess what softpedia already has the solution ..but hey my blog so here it is.... how ever this solution may not be apt for ATi dirvers.
bring up a terminal
Applications > Accessories > terminal

type in the following...
