Is your system directly connected to internet ? if not, you may face problem to upgrade your softwares. Because all softwares may or may not available as "*.rpm,*.tar,*.deb etc". Even if they available you may face problem with their dependencies. The solution to this problem "Sushi Huh?".
Sushi, huh? is a program that allows downloading all the packages needed to install the programs you want on GNU/Linux without an Internet connection on your own computer.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say it is truly the year of the android. For the last year I have had the one reasonable choice, the glorious G1. I could have gone with the Mytouch, however without the keyboard or any specs to up my geek cred there was no reason to upgrade. To make matters worse the click was a joke. All of this changed with the release of the Droid. Android has truly become a household name and will continue to grow market share and rock the cellular market. This is not...
