I have a modem but is only for Ubuntu and Debian and I can`t make it work.Im also intrested in finding a good modem for mobile broadband.Im not intrested in social networking because I prefer facts.If anybody helps me I say thanks mate.You hav my Emailadress so please send a mail and tell me what is the problem.

Title says it. So I've been using fluxbox forever with mrxvt and was stoked about my setup until I got once again sidetracked on the quest for screen real estate. Looks like I've finally achieved maximum useful pixel density re: the bloat around the edges. RAM usage is up a bit but I can't see RAM ever being an issue with the way I run Debian.

While I agree that TV is coming a long way in regards to how it is viewed, how clear the picture it is, and how many channels, it certainly hasn't come far enough in regards to 3D. How? Let me explain:

To view today's current 3D programming, you need glasses. You can still use 3D glasses on regular TVs! That means there's currently nothing a 3DTV can do that any current TV can't. Hell, I have even viewed standard-definition 3D DVDs on a 15-year-old set! It's really the glasses that...

So far, what I've heard about Ubuntu 11.04 is absolutely *incredible* and will probably make proprietary software bite the dust. How? Let me explain:

First of all, we come to Unity, the desktop environment that is *extremely* simple to use and therefore will attract more users. In particular, having a UI that's n00b-proof is *really* incredible.
